His playing experience includes rock bands, jazz bands, folk/rock trios, and solo piano. He has studied with some great players over the years: Jazz piano with the renowned Larry Vuckovich (protégé and sole student of Vince Guaraldi, who wrote all the Peanuts music), R&B piano with Oakland player Hurricane Sam, and Blues piano with noted author/teacher Aaron Blumenfeld. He is currently the keyboard player for three different working bands: Two For The Road, Above The Law, and Phantom City. He performs regularly at clubs, festivals, and corporate parties all around the Bay Area. "Peter tickles the ivories with creative abandon. His expressive solos and inspired stylings add a unique texture to the music." - Steven Andrew Kacsmar (San Francisco singer, songwriter, recording artist.) "Peter sounds great. I hear a lot of New Orleans in his playing." - Aaron Blumenfeld (Author of "Blues, Boogie, & Barrelhouse Piano", the definitive text on early piano styles.) "He plays killer keys." - Bill Spooner (Guitarist, song-writer, and founder of the legendary San Francisco rock band "The Tubes".)
Christine Noble (of Two for the Road)
A native of San Jose, Christine Noble began her professional singing career in 1998 when she joined a rhythm and blues band from San Francisco, California called Double Funk Crunch. In this group she performed both lead and background vocals as well as intricate choreographed dance routines. The band toured extensively throughout California performing for many prominent corporations such as Cisco Systems and Microsoft. They were also featured on the television program, “Game Day,” for KPIX Channel 5. Christine graduated in 2007 from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Voice. She had the honor to be taught by some of the best musicians in the music business, such as Frank Sumares, a world-renowned jazz pianist and Anne Marie Katemopoulos, the conductor of the jazz choir. Before learning how to sing and scat (jazz improvisation) in the Jazz style, Christine learned the vocal techniques of Classical music. Her teachers included Dr. David Rohrbaugh, Director of the San Jose Opera, and Joseph Frank, a tenor for the Metropolitan Opera. Christine has sung professionally with several musical groups from the California Bay Area for over ten years and is currently singing in three different musical groups: West Bay Rhythm, Two for the Road, and eBlues.
